The objective of a private Christian school is to teach children how to live and to uphold spiritual, academic, and behavioral standards.
The foundation for our teaching is the Holy Bible. “Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…” Deuteronomy 6:5-7a

Teaching is training. Training for life must include training for eternity.
A Christian school is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity. The school staff works closely with parents to train the whole child.
The goal of this school is not to reform, but to train Christian youth of every ability in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship. The school stands without apology for solid Biblical Doctrine and the highest standards of morality and Christian behavior.
Daily instruction from God’s word, weekly chapel services, and dedicated Christian teachers provide a model of Christian excellence for students. Chapel service speakers may include local pastors, staff members, and other special guests.
Sonshine Christian Academy is a fully accredited school through the Florida Council of Private Schools of the state of Florida, and through CGACS -Church of God Association of Christian Schools.
